इदं पद्यम् । मया किम् उच्यते इति अहं कदापि न जानामि ।
मया पूर्वयोजना न क्रियते । कथनात् बहिः यदा तिष्ठामि तदा अहं पूर्णतया मौनम् आचरामि, कदाचिदेव विरलतया वदामि ।

जलाल् आल्-दीन् मुहम्मद् रूमि अथवा जलाल् अद्-दीन् मुहम्मद् बल्खि (३० सेप्टेम्बर् १२०७ - १७ डिसेम्बर् १२७३) कश्चन पर्शियन् तत्त्वज्ञानी, ब्रह्मज्ञानी, कविः, बोधकः, माव्लावि-सूफि-मार्गस्य संस्थापकः । इदं पद्यम् । मया किम् उच्यते इति अहं कदापि न जानामि । मया पूर्वयोजना न क्रियते । कथनात् बहिः यदा तिष्ठामि तदा अहं पूर्णतया मौनम् आचरामि, कदाचिदेव विरलतया वदामि ।
